What kind of coverage do you offer?
We offer all standard coverage needed by those in the transportation industry including auto liability, physical damage, cargo, general liability, real and personal property, workers compensation, warehouse legal, and umbrella liability. Additionally, we can provide some of the nuance coverages that can be critical to the transportation clients, such as occupational accident and injury for independent contractors and blanket employee crime policies, to include independent contractor resources.
Do you only offer coverage for Intermodal drivers and drayage firms?
Our dynamic program is continually expanding and though we primarily focus our intermodal operations, we are extremely flexible with our scope of coverages.

The ICANA program offers owner-operators access the benefits of the Intermodal Insurance Program.
What programs do you offer for fleet owners?
Fleet owners are welcome to become stockholders and become a part of the board of directors which governs the program.
Insurance Coverage
What does liability coverage provide me?
Insurance for what the policyholder is legally obligated to pay because of bodily injury or property damage caused to another person.
Do I need physical damage coverage?
If you have a loan on your vehicle, or if you want to fully protect your vehicle, you should choose Physical Damage insurance.
What is a lien holder?
Used in instances of title of property (such as a vehicle) to refer to the person who has right of property, as opposed to the party that merely has right of possession.
If I pay off my truck, do I still need physical damage insurance?
Technically no, but we recommend that you still carry it; your truck is your livelihood, and you need to protect it.
If I change trucking companies, can I keep the same insurance?
Almost always, yes, and your trucking insurance rates will probably not change at all.
How do I pay for my insurance coverage?
We make it as easy as possible for you to pay for trucking insurance by doing an automatic check withdrawal from your account every month, accepting all major credit cards, and we accept checks by mail.
What is refrigeration breakdown insurance?
Refrigeration Breakdown Insurance provides coverage up to a separate limit shown on the schedule for spoilage of perishable stock while the stock is in transit on a vehicle.
What is Occupational Accident insurance?
Provides employers without workers’ compensation coverage an alternative, including accidental death and dismemberment, disability, and medical expenses.

Do you offer driver safety programs?
Through our association with Smith System Safety Training program we are able to offer safety training courses and on-the-road driver rehabilitation course to our members at no additional costs to them. Our program also hosts 2-3 safety conferences annually for our owner-operators, small carriers, and large fleets.
Do you offer other savings besides low cost insurance?

Do you provide flexible insurance rates?
We are able to provide flexible rates which fit your specific needs. We offer insurance packages which may save you money, but we also offer individual coverages to fit your unique requirements. Coverage plan designs also include large deductible and Self Insured Retention (SIR) programs for the larger and more sophisticated insured. Single and group captive programs are also among our tools to formulate the best risk funding mechanism for your company.
What benefits are offered to fleet owners?
This niche program addresses the special needs of intermodal drayage firms. This unique program provides all insured with coverage issued by an A-rated, admitted insurance company in every state, while at the same time providing participation by every insured in underwriting profits. Moreover, the program provides rate stability and predictability for every participating insured.
